Maltese national carrier Air Malta will be replacing the current Boeing 737-800 leased from Getjet, with an Airbus A320 from the same Lithuanian capacity provider. Reliable sources have told MAviO News that LY-DUE will be leaving Malta after 10pm (17/07/22) as flight HV72. The Boeing airliner will be replaced with an Airbus A320 registered LY-COB and flying in from Antalya as CAI731P
The Boeing 737-800 which was being flown in ACMI on behalf of KM, experienced some technical difficulties last Friday(15/07/22) while operating a rotation to London Heathrow. It is believed a fuel leak was the source of the massive delay, which at the time could not be rectified.
