Air Libya makes an Appearance

This rather plain looking RJ100 made a technical stop in Malta on its way to Benghazi. The aircraft received attention at Cranfield. Interestingly this RJ100 registered 5a-FLE had skipped us on its way North. The Libyan aviation scene is abuzz with new start-ups and expansion plans of existing carriers. When a country goes through internal strife the demand for air travel goes up exponentially as everyone tries to avoid the treacherous roads of the Maghreb country.
