This Afriqiyah A320 made a surprise visit to Malta on Tuesday 8th January 2019, bringing over a high-level Libyan delegation led by Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj. The aircraft landed at about 4:30pm and the PM’s visit was kept under wraps for more than 18 hours. During a meeting held at Castille, the Libyan Prime Minister, said that although still facing difficulties, Libya is looking forward to more economic development between the two countries.
