Work on the very first edition of the BOV Aviation Outlook started in late 2010, with the first conference held in May 2011 at the BOV Head Office in St Venera. Riccardo Flask, Marica Vella, Chris Cauchi, and Lara Debono worked tirelessly on the very first edition. It was uncharted territory and the whole team was still unsure whether the local aviation industry was ready for such an event. The organisers set the bar for the other conferences to follow and from the very first edition teamed up with Africa’s largest aviation magazine – World Airnews.
