The Malta Aviation Museum Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November 2019. Opening times are from 09:00 till 17:00. The price has been discounted from the usual Eur7 to Eur5. Various activities will be held on both days including the participation of The Malta Command – WW 2 Living History Group and Ops 39-45 RAF Living History Group who will be holding re-enactments and talks on both days. There is also the possibility of the Museum’s DH82a Tiger Moth and Piper L-4H Grasshopper taking part.
The Old Motors Club, the Military Vehicles Collectors Club, the Malta Model Aircraft Flying Association, the Malta Aviation Society, the Society of Scale Modellers-IPMS Malta, the Hal Far Model Flying Association and the Historic Motorcycle Club will also be joining and having some of their members display their vehicles/motorcycles/photos/scale models.
There are going to be several talks during both days, including The Aviation Archaeology of the Maltese Islands by Prof Timmy Gambin, The role of Women in WW 2 by Simon Cusens and the Malta International Airshow by Joe Ciliberti.
