Happy World Pilots’ Day – 2023

This year marks the 10th World Pilots’ Day. In 2013, IFALPA concluded that it was high time they found a day to celebrate the pivotal role that pilots play to keep the world connected. The first ever World Pilots’ Day as we know it, was celebrated on 26th April 2014. Interestingly, it was the Turkish Pilots’ Association that established the 26th of April as Pilots Day. Originally, the aim of of these aviatots was to celebrate the first flight of Fesa Evrensev which happened on this date way back in 1912.
