MAviO News is reliably informed that well-known Slovak operator AirExplore will be flying for Jet2 this Summer mainly out of East Midlands. Jet2 had already leased additional capacity from AXE during Summer 2022. It was a short wet-lease which lasted approximately 21 days. With predictions of huge demand for flights this Summer, Jet2 has been very agile to secure additional capacity from ACMI operators. It is believed that AirExplore will deploy a minimum of three Boeing 737-800 flying on routes to Spain and other popular Mediterranean destinations.
AirExplore has also been studying the addition of a second Boeing 737-800F. The company has successfully deployed the first B738F in partnership with UAE based RDS Cargo Group in the MENA region..
