Air Malta’s Boeing 737

A Getjet Boeing 737-800 is currently operating for Air Malta. The aircraft is a 2004 example which was originally delivered to Virgin Blue in May of that year. The 737NG currently carries the registration LY-UNO, with remnants of its Virgin Australia livery which can still be seen on tail and engine necelles.

The single-aisle airliner operated a rotation to Rome this morning(01/07/22) and it should be kept busy throughout the day with a flight to Milan and another rotation to Rome later in the day. The 189-seat airliner is being leased on an ACMI basis to better cope with the surge in demand during the Summer period.
