A powerful new player is preparing for takeoff in the Libyan aviation sector. In an exclusive interview with MAViO News, Libyan aviation expert Captain Nouman El-Ageli revealed the launch of “Libyan Oil Wings”, a proposed joint venture between Harmony Group, Delta United Group, and Libya’s Petro Air.

The ambitious project will focus on specialized aviation services for the Libyan state and oil sector, combining international expertise with local capability to reinvigorate operations and drive down costs.

“This partnership is not just about flights — it’s about transforming Libya’s aviation infrastructure,” said Captain El-Ageli. “The deal aims to create a streamlined operation that reduces dependence on third-party providers while improving reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.”

By pooling the technical capabilities and fleets of Petro Air and the Maltese-American consortium, the venture aims to maximize aircraft utilization, cut operational costs, and enhance service quality across the board.

With Libya’s oil and energy sectors demanding faster, more reliable transport solutions, “Libyan Oil Wings” may soon become a critical lifeline — connecting remote oil fields, key government stakeholders, and international partners with unprecedented efficiency.
