Paphos, Trieste and Santiago de Compostela are three new routes that have been added to the network of Malta International Airport for the first time. All three routes are being operated by Ryanair / Malta Air as the low cost airline continues to cement its position as the number one operator at LMML.
In a brief statement, Malta International Airport said that the introduction of these destinations will offer a wider range of options for winter travel for locals. Trieste’s proximity to the Slovenian and Croatian borders renders the Italian destination an excellent starting point for a road trip, with some spectacular scenery along the way. MIA should also be unveiling a fourth new route for the winter season in November.
