For the third time in its lifespan Air Malta seems intent on giving regional aircraft one more chance. After leasing the BAe ATP from SATA of Portugal in 1992/93 and selecting the Avro RJ70 in the mid-nineties to develop Malta as a hub, Air Malta executives are now showing a flurry of interest in the ex-Bombardier C Series which has joined the Airbus stable after a deal signed earlier in the year.
