Air Malta has been awarded – The Airline Turnaround of the Year – at the CAPA World Aviation Summit held in Berlin between the 27th and 28th of November. CAPA Executive chairman Peter Harbison explained that for a time it appeared as if Air Malta came to accept its own slow decline. However over the last 12 months, the airline has been reborn and is now profitably flying the flag of Malta.
